This website has been founded by physicians and medical students with extensive experience in the use of handhelds, computers, the internet and other technologies to improve the healthcare of patients.

As you may have discovered for yourself, MedicalPocketPC.com offers physicians as well as other health care professionals the latest in a young market that is primed for growth, that of medical software for the Pocket PC line of handheld computers. Until now, the Palm Operating System has dominated the handheld market, not the least of which is within the medical community. Though we had been devoted to our Palm OS handhelds, we have evolved to the faster and more powerful handhelds of the future, the Pocket PC machines manufactured by Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and others.

Bill Boonn, M.D.
Founder and President

Bill is currently a radiology resident at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his medical school training at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. His interest in incorporating Medicine and Technology along with the lack of medical resources for the Pocket PC in a Palm dominated arena led him to establish MedicalPocketPC.com in October 2000.

Nilay Shah, M.D.
VP, President of Business Development

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Dr. Shah received his Bachelors degree from Cornell University followed by medical school at St. George's University in Grenada. He then went to New York city for his residency in Neurology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. After completing a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Univeristy of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Dr. Shah entered private practice.

He is currently senior neurologist at Crystal Run Healthcare in Middletown, NY.

Victor Chin, M.D.
Vice President of Technology

Victor graduated from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed his Transitional Year internship in Portland, Oregon. He is currently practicing in his second year of residency in ophthalmology at Tuft's New England Eye Center. In addition to designing and developing the MedicalPocketPC website, he is interested in shaping the future of electronic and handheld medical resources.

With this web site, we have established a one-stop resource that medical professionals can turn to when using their Pocket PCs. MedicalPocketPC.com not only highlights the latest news happenings important to Pocket PC owners, but also has insightful articles, thorough software and hardware reviews, and hosts a dynamic message board designed to energize this sector of the medical community.
